If you sell into a market that requires child-resistant packaging, say so at quotation stage. Retrofitting a CR closure onto a finished bottle design usually means a new mould and a four week delay.

How the price is actually built

The cheapest way to lower your cost per unit is usually to remove a SKU, not to negotiate a discount. Fewer lines means larger runs, fewer changeovers and a better price at the same quality.

We publish a realistic band of 3.13 to 10.29 per unit for standard configurations at 500 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.

What a sensible opening order looks like

Factory capacity matters more than factory size. A line that can hold a tolerance across 5,000 units is worth more than a showroom that can produce 50,000 on paper. We qualify capacity by running a repeat order and measuring the drift.
